Payroll · Tax forms
Run payroll. File W-2s + 1099s. Built in.
A full payroll engine — gross-to-net with IRS Pub 15-T federal withholding, FICA, Medicare, FUTA, and SUTA — plus year-end W-2 and 1099-NEC generation. The same numbers flow straight into your books, so payroll and bookkeeping run on one engine.
This engine computes every paycheck and produces filing-ready W-2 (SSA EFW2 format) and 1099-NEC (IRS transmittal format) records. Actually transmitting to the SSA/IRS and moving money (direct deposit, tax remittance) require regulated infrastructure: an IRS e-file Transmitter Control Code, an SSA Business Services Online account, Reporting-Agent authorization (Form 8655), and money-transmitter licensing + NACHA access for ACH. That's the partner/licensing layer — the same regulated-rails model as how we connect to banks via Plaid. The math is done here; the regulated rails are the activation step.
941, 940, W-2, 1099 → build → validate → queue → transmit, with deadline tracking + auto-file. TaxBandits e-file adapter ready.
401(k), HSA, health/dental/vision, FSA, life, garnishments — correct FICA treatment, 2025 limits, employer match, W-2 Box 12.
